Resumo
Forasmuch as the voice is a product of body and the body is a product of the world, pretend is to describe the voice on the several ages of history, giving special attention to aspects of human voice or speechlessness on private life and on public life. The start point to the ransom of voice since the classic ancient times until the contemporary times was the reading of Richard Sennett. It follows that was articulate the phenomenology of Maurice Merleau-Ponty about body and language and the conclusion was that voice or speech is a fact of the world of perception and shows the relation of men and women with the other and with the time.
