Resumo

Apresenta uma proposta para promover um ambiente propício ao compartilhamento de informação e conhecimento entre os servidores do Sistema de Bibliotecas (SiBi) da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). Inicia com uma breve descrição do SiBi/UFPR e a seguir discute questões ligadas ao ambiente organizacional e à gestão do conhecimento (GC). Dentro dessa temática, são definidos conceitos como: GC e cultura organizacional juntamente com a proposta propriamente dita. As sugestões aqui apresentadas fazem parte do início de um projeto maior a ser desenvolvido, pois ao potencializar o compartilhamento da informação e do conhecimento, a primeira etapa da GC será colocada em prática. Entende-se que incentivar essa prática em Bibliotecas Universitárias (BUs) é fundamental para a preservação do conhecimento organizacional, para o aprendizado e para vencer os desafios da mudança da cultura organizacionalque se apresentam.

This paper presents the proposal to promote a favorable environment to share information and knowledge among the workers of the Sistema de Bibliotecas (SiBi) from the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). First of all, there is a brief description of the SiBi/UFPR and then the questions related to the organizational environment and knowledge management (KM) are discussed. It defines concepts of KM and organizational culture, and then it presents the main proposal. The suggestions that are presented in this paper are part of the beginning of a bigger project that will be developed. When the sharing of knowledge and information is put at the top, the first stage of the KM will be put in practice. To stimulate the University Library to that practice it is important to preserve the organizational knowledge, the learning and to overcome the challenges of the changes in the organizational culture that will come.
